Camp Rules and Policies 2012

The following rules will be strictly enforced. Enrollment confirmation is contingent upon the acceptance of these rules and policies by all camp participants.

1. The Dearing Volleyball School retains the right at all times without refund to dismiss anyone whose conduct or influence may be injurious to the program, other participants, staff members, or Springfield College.

2. The use of tobacco alcohol or other drugs will be strictly prohibited.

3. Participants are not allowed to leave the Springfield College main campus during the camp. All evening curfews are mandatory.

4. Gambling is not allowed.

5. Bicycles, inline skates and scooters are not allowed.

6. Backpacks are not allowed in Dining Hall per Aramark Food Services policy. 

7. All commuters will follow camp procedure for checking in and checking out daily. Parents/guardians will be asked to complete a commuter checkout form prior to camp. This form will be on file with the Camp Director, and will be used daily at checkout to release commuter campers to the assigned parent/guardian listed on the form.

8. Commuters who drive daily must use their assigned parking lot, and are not permitted to use their cars until they are dismissed.

9. Boarders who drive to campus must turn their keys over to the Camp Director upon arrival.  Use of auto is strictly forbidden for the remainder of camp. 

10. All Boarders will provide name of parent/guardian or their appointee who will pick camper up at the conclusion of the camp session.

11. All injuries, no matter how slight, must be reported immediately to the Athletic Trainer.

12. Jewelry is not allowed during volleyball sessions as a safety precaution.

13.  CROSSWALKS: Campers must use one of the two marked crosswalks on Alden St. (at the traffic signals)

14. Parents/family members are welcome to visit anytime. Please identify yourself to the Director or appropriate staff members when visiting.  All other visitors must be approved in advance by Camp Director.
